Woman

Woman:

Her pear thighs and apple hips
are crisp to the mouth and juicy
as her lily palms are fragrant
and her strawberry toes are joyful.

Satin peaches are her breasts,
sweetly engorged with sunshine;
her spine is blueberries,
tough, tart, and refreshing.

A mango is her tummy,
luscious to savor and stroke;
her buns are young coconuts,
firm and filled with nectar.

Her knees are nectarines
paired each with kiwi feet;
Her back is a daffodil,
fresh and smooth as spring.

Her shoulders are tendrils of jasmine,
vining without constraint; and within these confines
even the strongest could faint
from the gentle, soft headiness
wafting from such delicacy.

Her arms are wildflowers,
as many colors as the rainbow,
as soft and warm as the soil they grow in,
as open as a flower
with her face to the sun:
This is a woman.
